Suresh had a very sweet voice since his childhood. His roots of performances were laid since then. He would entertain Guests at home by singing on their insistence. His father would accompany him on a Harmonium. Having an educationist father at Home helped Suresh a great literature & poetries. His love for Poetry begins now which made him composing them at a very tender age of 12 years.
Recognizing his ability to sing & compose he was given training in Classical vocal under the guidance of Guru Shri Batukbhai Bhatt at the age of 13. He learnt music till Upantya Visharad. (A Degree in Music)
Till Now, his talent was known only to his friends & relatives of a comparatively small town he belonged to. But come year 1980 – he took admission in an Engineering College in Rajkot. A Big city with new faces, new culture & new people around him. But this did not affect Suresh as he gelled with them quite easily. His Extrovert nature helped him make a lot of Friends here. In Rajkot he met famous Composer Shri Paresh Bhatt. His stay at Rajkot gave his Musical career a new boost. It was here only that he got an Opportunity to sing on Aakashwani. He also got an Opportunity to get in touch with Paresh Bhatt, Upendra Trivedi, Jayanti Patel & Chandubhai Rathod. He learnt a lot of minute things about composing from these stalwarts. Till date he gives them the Credit for Whatever he is today to these Maestros.
His Musical Journey had started taking place during this period. He was being recognised as an Artist by now & was also working Performing on Radio & Door Darshan. He had also started giving independent solo Performances in various Towns of Gujarat. All this continued till 1989. He had made many friends during this period like Poet Shri Ramesh Parekh, Harshad Chandarana, Arvind Bhatt, Iqbal Motiwala, Sanju wala, Bharat Vinjuda, Jayanti Patel (Poet) etc. Who helped him to mould his Career. These Gentlemen Prospered him with their Guidance & their Creations.
Out Two Mumbai Year 1989.Expanding & Exploring new horizons were Suresh's Dream which slowly became a reality after he moved to Mumbai. He was fortunate enough he met get his Friend Philosopher & Guide Shri Uday Mazumdar here with whom he worked from 1990 – 1997. After which he started working independently on Audio albaums such as 'Pankhi no Tahuko', 'Mrityunjay', 'Nathi ghar Kacach nu Maru', 'Verai Mata ni Vandana', 'Geet Panchami', 'Geet Gamtila', 'Aapni Yaadi', 'Sakhiri', 'Pragad', 'Ramanathashtakam', 'Darr – Udi Jaay' (Girl Enpowerment Initiative by Gujarat Government) & his latest 'Kaal Saache Pagla'.
His Span as Music Arranger includes 'Ame re Suku Ru Nu Pumdu' – collection of Poetries by Makrand Dave music by Ajit & Nirupama Sheth, 'Sangat' A Collection of Six Audio albums of various Poets, Composer Harishchandra Joshi.
He has also given music for musical theatricals such as 'Akho - Akhabolo', 'Saraswati Chandra', 'Apurva Avsar', 'Kalapi', 'Mrityunjay', 'Jal Jal mare re Patang', 'Mann ni Dwarika na Suba', 'Amarfal', 'Vastupal – Tejpal', 'Merande', 'Antar Yatra', 'Dikri no baap.com' etc.
He has also given demonstration & lectures about Music at Asmita Parv (Mahuva), Zarukho – (Mumbai) & also at Bhavans Cultural Centre (Mumbai). With all this he has also composed for Audio Albums of Shri Haribhai Kothari's Bhajans such as 'Kana ni Venu Vagi', 'Geet Gaurav na Gaje', 'Ish na Etbaare', 'Ram bharose' & many more. Apat from Gujarati music arrangement he has also arranged music for Hindi albums such as 'Gujharish', 'Shirdi ke Jogi', & a Marathi album 'Krishnai' too.
